F80 M3 conversion

330iHi everyone. An F80 M3 project has been my dream for a long time. It's still my dream :) . The first thing we did was put brakes on the car — brand-new M3 brakes, 380mm front, 360mm rear. I want to fit a B58B38, but doing it the legal way brings the price up to 1.5 million, for the ECU, transmission and engine. Please don't compare this to those 600-700k "change" project cars — this is fully legal. But I couldn't stretch to that budget. So I figured, at least let me convert the interior to M3 spec. M3 seats and door cards, black floor carpet, M3 center console, M3 dash, Alcantara headliner — that's going to need around 250,000 TL including labor on average. Do you think it's worth it? After doing the interior, God willing we'll move on to the exterior in stage 3. What are your thoughts?

With small engine improvements, even if it's not an M3, you'll get that feeling more than enough, and you'll have plenty of fun. Especially given all the legal hassle, I wouldn't recommend swapping in a different engine
