MyGarage – Cookie Policy Effective Date: 7 September 2026 • Policy Version: 2026-09 SECTION 1 — PURPOSE AND SCOPE This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage) used on the mygarage.global website (the "Site") operated by MyGarage Global Inc. ("MyGarage", "we"). It is prepared in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), the Turkish Data Protection Authority's Guideline on Cookie Applications, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the ePrivacy Directive. This policy covers the website only. The mobile applications do not use cookies; their data processing is described in the Privacy Policy. SECTION 2 — WHAT ARE COOKIES? Cookies are small text files placed in your browser by the website you visit. They are used to recognise you or your preferences on your next visit. Local storage and session storage are browser technologies used for similar purposes; in this policy the term "cookie" also covers them. SECTION 3 — CATEGORIES OF COOKIES WE USE 3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies Required for the Site to function; legal basis is KVKK art. 5/2-(c) and (f) and GDPR art. 6/1-(b) and (f). Session. • mg-session — Hint that a saved session exists (only "1"; contains no session data). 1 year. • mg-lang — Language hint so the Site renders in the right language on first paint (tr/en). 1 year. • mg-consent, mg-consent-hint, mg-consent-ok — Consent records storing your cookie choices. 180 days. • mg-auth (local storage) — Server-encrypted session data that keeps you signed in across page reloads. Deleted on sign-out. • mg.blog.drafts.* (local storage) — Blog drafts you started writing; required for the "save draft" feature you explicitly request and kept only on your own device. • Blazor/SignalR connection tokens — Application infrastructure for real-time operation. Duration of the connection. 3.2 Functional Cookies (consent required) Improve your experience by remembering preferences. Used only with your permission. • mg-theme (local storage) — Light/dark theme preference. • mg-app-bar-dismissed (local storage) — Whether the mobile app banner was dismissed. • mg:feed:* (session storage) — Your position in the feed; cleared when the tab closes. 3.3 Analytics Cookies (consent required) Used to measure how the Site is used, in anonymous statistics. As of the effective date no analytics cookies are used on the Site. If this changes, this section will be updated, the policy version will change and your consent will be requested again. 3.4 Marketing Cookies (consent required) Used for third-party embedded content (video players, maps) and interest-based content. As of the effective date no marketing cookies are used on the Site. If this changes, this section will be updated and your consent requested again. SECTION 4 — THIRD-PARTY RESOURCES The Site loads fonts (Google Fonts), map libraries (Leaflet via unpkg, Esri map tiles), chart and editor libraries (jsDelivr) and media files (Bunny CDN) from third-party servers. These providers receive your browser's IP address; the Site does not allow them to set cookies. Maps load only when you open the relevant page. SECTION 5 — MANAGING YOUR PREFERENCES • In the banner shown on your first visit you can choose "Accept all", "Necessary only", or select categories under "Settings". • You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the left menu, or withdraw it entirely with "Withdraw consent". After withdrawal no consent-based cookies are written; existing ones can be deleted from your browser settings. • You may delete or block all cookies in your browser settings; if strictly necessary cookies are blocked, parts of the Site may not work. • Your consent record is valid for 180 days or until the cookie policy changes. SECTION 6 — CONSENT RECORD Your consent decision (selected categories, time, policy version) is stored in a signed cookie in your browser and, as required by the KVKK/GDPR burden of proof, logged on the server without identity (only category flags, time and a masked network address).
