Good luck, mechanics; I have the idea of an E46 330Ci in mind. I couldn't find a very clean one on the market; they're all close to 300k and always slammed, messed-with cars, and those that could count as clean are needlessly expensive. Lower-engined ones of the same body, the 316Ci and 320Ci, are both lower mileage and cheaper. What do you think: buy a lower-spec body, swap in an M54B30, bring the car to a more OEM standard condition and drive it, or buy an original 330Ci and have it repaired? I'm open to your thoughts on this

Translated from TurkishConsidering the costs right now, it might make sense to just get a 330Ci and drive it, but if you can find a wrecked (as long as it's not totaled) E46 Coupe and put it back together, that seems more reasonable to me, because since you'd be doing everything yourself, you won't be left with a lot of question marks down the road.
Translated from TurkishThe E46 is a fantastic chassis. A really fun car with an incredibly solid body. But the cars we're talking about have turned 20 years old, and no matter how well maintained, metal fatigue unfortunately starts to set in past a certain point. You'll need plenty of time, plenty of patience, and a considerable amount of money.
Translated from TurkishI'm saying this as someone who's built one from scratch, from the shell onward it's tough work. Research and buy a finished one, don't get into the stress of building it up and the whims of the garage.
