Mount Mereto Summit
Mount Mereto stands at 2,978 meters. The road was opened and paved this year. There is also a ski center on the mountain's slopes, and construction of station cafes with a moving walkway is ongoing at 3 spots. The historic Virgin Mary Church at the summit has been restored and a small mosque is being built. The road up Mount Mereto has many steep hairpins. An experienced driver and preferably a 4x4 off-road vehicle are recommended. Otherwise, cars with powerful engines and motorcycles also make the climb.
