You had breakfast and left the house. Those coming from the European side got off the KMO, those from the Anatolian side got off the Şile highway. You had a coffee at Nefes Orman. Then on the road I pinned, among the trees, you did your pleasure drive on a route where corners and straights combine. At the points you reach at the end of the drive there are cook-it-yourself places (I mostly prefer Cumhuriyet Park; they bring the embers, service etc. themselves :)). You devoured the chicken, meatballs and sucuk you bought from your own butcher. And ordered a samovar of tea. Lovely. From the return point you can go back on the same winding roads. The KMO connection is also very close, you can choose that too.

After Mengen, toward Kastamonu, Karabük and Zonguldak, a route immersed in nature with plenty of corners and usually no traffic. After the Dorukhan pass, a pleasure road all the way to Başlarkadı. You can drink mountain spring water by the roadside and take a small coffee break by pulling into safe lay-bys :)
