Ankara-Safranbolu-Bartın
Friends, instead of taking the straight Istanbul road or the old road to Bartın, we turn from Kızılcahamam toward Çerkeş; at the end of Çerkeş we join the road on the left toward Karabük, then pass through Safranbolu and take the tree-lined road to Bartın. From Kızılcahamam onward it's a mountain road; I really enjoyed opening it up. Just watch out for oncoming trucks, they come in fast in both directions. Enjoy the oxygen and the nature ??
