I looked and there aren't many people bothering with keeping it original, they're making it into a daily driver. If I have time in the future, God willing, I'd want to make it either original or with a rally concept.

@samdanege I'm in favor of original. Your car has some cosmetic shortcomings, it needs maintenance. It's better for it to look factory-stock 😄

If your car is the 1.6 MPI, your job could be more costly. If it's the 1.6 carburetor, what you can do at first is actually the same as with Tofaş cars. With a performance camshaft, headers, an exhaust system, and a good carburetor jet setup, it becomes a very lively car. For the suspension, custom coilovers and braces can be made under Turkish conditions. This will be enough to make it your first training car. Flooring it on a straight road will of course get boring, but it'll be a good teacher for you on winding roads.
