Greetings, first of all the car looks really good, hope you drive it safe and sound, I really liked the color. I have the 2016 model of the same car, do you have any complaints about the transmission? how many thousand km is yours at?
Hello. Thanks. My car's at 103 thousand km. I don't have any major complaints yet like knocking, jerking, slipping etc. I always use manual mode in heavy traffic. That has a pretty big effect on clutch life. At the last service I was thinking about whether to change the clutch because of the mileage, but since my mechanic said it'd go another 25-30 thousand km, I didn't change it
My car makes excessive noise especially in cold weather on first use, I was wondering if you have the same thing, the car's at 128 thousand km, I used to drive it more comfortably in summer, but since I live in Ankara, in winter when I go to school in the morning the car makes a lot of noise and it scares me. Have you ever changed the transmission fluid? I'm not sure if changing it would help. In traffic I also shift to manual, the car doesn't slip back, but I hear excessive noise when shifting from 1st to 2nd in the cold
Master, since the oil warms up slowly in cold weather, clunky shifts are normal, but going by mileage it seems the clutch has reached the end of its life. I'd say don't try to postpone this with an oil change, since it can damage the mechatronics. Clutch + oil change + calibration aren't huge expenses. Also, if you replace the transmission's lower mount, it'll get back to its original condition.
Mashallah, may God keep you from accidents, may no stone touch your tires
