I'm an executive chauffeur. I have plenty of experience with all the E- and F-segment German cars and high-performance EVs on the market. We've put around 100,000 km on the EQS 580 in particular. Feel free to ask me anything you're curious about.

I'm torn between these two cars, or rather, I'm between the newly updated Taycan 4S, meaning the facelift, the BMW iX M60, and the EQS53 AMG — is there a clear winner in your opinion?

The biggest difference between Mercedes and BMW EVs is that Mercedes has a different platform between its EV and combustion models, while BMW produces both combustion and EV on the same platform. BMW is way ahead in this respect when it comes to maintenance, repairs, and unfortunate accident situations. I drove the i7 M50 and the EQS580, the i7 is way ahead in every category, though of course there's a price and segment difference between them too. If I were you I'd get the BMW.

I'm thinking of getting either the EQE 350+ or the BMW i4 eDrive40, but there are also 340 hp i4 versions that are tempting me a bit. Comparing the two, I'm not sure which is better, what are the pros and cons, do you know anything?
