Hi, I have a budget of around 1.5m and I'm looking for a car. I was looking at the VW Golf etc. and then also saw the Taigo. I liked the car, but I'm not sure how the 1.0 engine would be — I have some bias against it because of the low displacement and 3 cylinders. It'll mostly be used in the city, driven by a family of 5. I'm looking at Life trim models with low mileage. I'm open to better alternatives too. Thanks.

If you'll be driving with a full car all the time, the performance might not be at the level you expect. A pre-2019 Golf could work if you're set on Volkswagen, otherwise a 1.5-1.6 dCi Qashqai could also work.
Translated from TurkishI have a 1.0 TSI Skoda, they use the same engine, since it's turbocharged the performance and mid-range acceleration are satisfying, mine is also a family car and it hasn't felt lacking, there's vibration but only while the engine is cold, once it warms up you won't find any noise or vibration, I'm happy with it and I've been driving it for 6 years now
