Stellantis group multimedia problem

Original Poster

We've been using our 2021 Opel Combo for about three years now. We're planning to replace it soon. In our current car, Apple CarPlay doesn't reactivate after a short drive when I restart the car. Also, sometimes the multimedia screen switches itself to French or Spanish on its own. Sometimes there are glitches. The parking sensors only kick in after the parking maneuver is already finished (in other words, they activate way too late). In short, it doesn't run as smoothly as it should and there are occasional hiccups, and this can be annoying at times. My question is: Do these problems also exist in the group's other cars? We'll make sure not to buy from that same group accordingly.

We had a 2018 model Citroën Jumpy, we bought it brand new, and we went through a lot of things similar to what you described, and now we keep hearing about and running away from Stellantis group cars. They really are nice and eye-catching cars in some respects, but the quality isn't equally eye-catching. These kinds of multimedia issues in that group are generally caused by the head unit and the battery; software issues in general can get to a point where they can't be resolved. Not just that - certain models chronically have a lot of quality-related faults.

One entry wasn't even enough to list that group's problems 😂 joking aside, if you want reliability, it's generally the German group — or rather, if you want to run into problems that can at least be solved, go German, but if you don't want any problems at all, go Japanese

Mate, it's a bit late, but I just saw it — thanks a lot for your comments.
