Skoda Scala suspension problems

Hi. I own a 1.6 TDI Scala, the car's at 150k. On rough roads there are creaks from the rear. In general the suspension feels stiff and comfort weak, but this adds to cornering performance. How are things with you, are there similar complaints? Also, at low speeds on rough roads the car rocks from side to side excessively like a cradle, but I think this problem comes from the Hankook tires I just bought; I think it can do that because the tire sidewall is very soft, and the car being narrow surely has an effect too.

Bro, I have the same car - the noise gets extremely worse especially when it's cold, same creaking sound, and just like you said it shakes when someone gets in, same thing. I think it's chronic - when we took the car in for service they checked it and said it's normal. If anyone knows why, please enlighten us

On VAG group cars, there are rubber parts inside the moving bushings in the suspension, for example at the bottom of the front control arms and rear torsion beam mounts. These parts stiffen up in the cold and make a creaking noise, especially over speed bumps and such. I had a 2014 Skoda Octavia - before going into winter I'd get a silicone spray and spray it on these rubber parts, no noise at all, and it'd last another 6 months. There are also more professional rubber-seal renewal sprays you can use.

I'm a Scala owner too, but I haven't had any suspension issues - though in very cold weather I've noticed a light creaking sound from the bushings, but once the car warms up the problem goes away
