Hi, has anyone gotten a fine for white xenon that isn't too blinding? We can barely see ahead with the yellow bulbs.

3 repliesHi, I didn't get fined, but I failed the inspection today with Photon Ultimate bulbs. I even went to a garage, put in original bulbs, and passed the re-inspection that way. You can go for the free recheck the same day. A guy working there told me that at police checkpoints now, they turn on the high beams and if they see the white light on non-original headlights, they write a ticket for that too. It hasn't happened to me yet, but if it did I'd be pretty bummed out.
Translated from TurkishYeah, I don't want to get a fine over something that small either. In my opinion, if it doesn't get right in the eyes of oncoming drivers, there shouldn't be a problem with it being white. Thanks for your input.
Translated from TurkishIn my opinion too, if there's even a slight eye discomfort, yellow headlights blind you at night, and on top of that new models are coming out with white headlights under ridiculous names, and those dazzle even more. Speaking of which, a friend of ours got a warning at the inspection the other day, but in my opinion he was the one who most deserved the warning (like a spotlight, my god)
