E46 headlight problem

Hello, I have a 2004 E46 Coupe; out of nowhere my left headlight went out, then the right headlight also stopped working the same way. The bulbs work, I checked; in fact no power is reaching them. Parking lights, high beams and turn signals work, by the way. I removed the headlight switch and looked but of course understood nothing. Some say it could be the comfort module, others say it could be a problem with the board in the headlight switch. If anyone has experienced this before, I'd be very glad for information.
