If you have the money, buy it; otherwise, as long as there's no problem you'll enjoy it, but if it develops a problem — and that problem is probably very serious or will lead to very serious things — it'll put you off Opel for good. (Last year my 1.4t Insignia burned out.) If you don't use the right oil, it's an engine that breaks pistons, burns oil, and cracks the turbo. Like I said, if you say you're willing to deal with it and you've got the money — the prices on the Astra K 1.4t are seriously cheap. But I'm telling you honestly, don't buy it, bro.

The 2020-21 ones are facelifted, 3-cylinder, CVT — they don't have the chronic problems that the pre-facelift ones have.
