Boss, damage to the bumper has to be significant for the airbag not to deploy on a minor impact, so I wouldn't buy it - but for example yesterday I had my airbag replaced without a recall, it had never deployed before, they said it could go off on its own, so I got it replaced. That's the only reason I'd buy one where it's been replaced, and apparently that shows up in the service records anyway
