Coolant leak that can't be found

Original Poster

Hello, I have a 2020 1.5 Citroen C3 Aircross at 67k km with a coolant leak I can't find. I had a pressure test done but we couldn't find a leak; I showed it to 2 mechanics, they couldn't find it, and their solution was basically 'let it get a bit bigger, then come back'. Anyway, the top and bottom of my car are dry and there's no trace of coolant anywhere.. there's no roughness in how the car drives or shifts either.. I'll take it to the authorized service tomorrow; I'm wondering if there's something I've missed, I'd like ideas. I think it could be the EGR, but if anyone with experience shares whether it could be something else, I'd be glad..

There's a coolant leak, it's dropping little by little - over 6000 km I've topped up about half a liter, maybe a bit more. I use the car daily, doing 70-80 km a day...

The engine block is scary, but if it were the engine block, wouldn't there be sludge at the oil filler cap?? There's no sign at all at the oil filler cap. There's no sign of oil in the coolant either....

Guys, it turned out to be the EGR cooler - since it couldn't be seen from top or bottom and didn't drip because of the engine heat, it was a bit hard to find due to the small amount it was losing.

Back in the day, a water leak we couldn't find no matter how much we searched turned out to be coming from the block. The engine had been opened up except for the bearings. Hopefully it's something simpler this time.

Honestly mate, I can't even tell you what kinds of scenarios crossed my mind, but for now I've been driving it for 2 days, no drop in level, though I'm guessing it'll become clear in 1-2 weeks. We fixed it with the EGR cooler, hopefully...
