Hi everyone, I'm thinking of buying an iron fallout (metal dust) remover for my Cupra Formentor. But there are so many options on the market and the prices vary a lot too. What features should I pay attention to when choosing a product? What criteria matter in a good iron fallout remover? What should I look out for, like pH value, dwell time, and wheel/paint compatibility? If you have brand/model recommendations you've used and been happy with, I'd love it if you shared them. I'm curious about your experiences and tips. Also, can I use this product on my other cars in the garage too?

Hello. To safely use an iron/fallout remover on the bodywork, it helps to go for pH-neutral ones. Products that work as both a wheel cleaner and an iron remover are usually harsh, alkaline products. I use IGL Iron and I'm happy with it. Its smell is also milder than the others. Try to go for global brands, and never apply it while the surface is hot. Also try not to spray it directly onto the calipers.
