Especially on VAG TSI engines, if you hear a rattling sound similar to a chain noise when starting up in the morning or blipping the throttle between 2-3k rpm, this part is the cause of that sound. This part is called the Turbo Wastegate Actuator Arm; this problem occurs when it loosens or develops play.
