I had my first long trip back home with my old faithful car when my daughter was just one month old. It made the trip to Samsun and back exactly 4 times in 3 years. The engine and transmission were trouble-free, but because of the salt disaster in Germany, parts kept rusting away. Parts and labor being very expensive, and the rear trailing arms breaking due to corrosion.
